NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition Technical Committee has been called and will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 13, 2000, in the Mead Conference Room #1, at the Las Vegas Valley Water District, 1001 South Valley View, Las Vegas Nevada, 89153.
I. Call to Order; notice of agenda conformance with Open Meeting Law requirements. II. Approval of Agenda for July 13, 2000. III. Approval of Minutes of the June 8, 2000, and June 22, 2000, meetings. IV. Discuss the actions taken at the June 22, 2000, SNRPC Board meeting; direct staff accordingly. V. Receive an update on the Planning Consultant Activities; direct staff accordingly. VI. Discuss the creation of an independent air quality agency through an interlocal agreement between the County of Clark, and the Cities of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City; take any necessary action. VII. Receive a presentation from an EPA representative; take any necessary action. VIII. Discuss SNRPC Legislative bill drafts; direct staff accordingly. IX. Receive a report on the Federal Lands Disposal Subcommittee meeting and receive a status report on the efforts to create a Special Account allocation recommendation process; direct staff accordingly. X. Receive an update report on the meetings regarding exotic animals and the developed draft ordinance; direct staff accordingly. XI. Set the agenda for July 27, 2000, SNRPC Board meeting. XII. The next meeting date and location for Technical Committee meeting is tentatively set for August 10, 2000, 4:00 p.m., at Clark County. XIII. Public Comment
No action may be taken upon a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.XIV. Adjournment.
