NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition Technical Committee has been called and will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2002, in Mead Conference Room #2, at the Las Vegas Valley Water District, 1001 South Valley View, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89153 to consider the following:

I. Call to Order; notice of agenda conformance with Open Meeting Law requirements.

II. Approval of Agenda for October 10, 2002.

III. Approval of the Minutes from the September 12, 2002, meeting.

IV. Receive a report on the recent planning consultant activities; take any necessary action.

V. Approve the scope of services and contract for professional services with Parametrix; take any necessary action.

VI. Receive a report on alternatives for wastewater management, disposal and discharge; take any necessary action.

VII. Receive a report on the Joint Selection nominations for BLM land sales; take any necessary action.

VIII. Receive a report on local government nomination for Parks, Trails, and Natural Areas from the SNPLMA Special Account (Round 4); take any necessary action.

IX. Receive a presentation and update on SNRPC accomplishments; direct staff accordingly.

X. Discuss the SNRPC Board meeting dates for November and December 2003; take any necessary action.

XI. Receive an updated report on the activities of the Task Force on Emergency Room Overcrowding; direct staff accordingly.

XII. Set the agenda for the October 24, 2002, SNRPC Board meeting.

XIII. The next date and location for the Technical Committee meeting is tentatively set for November 14, 2002, 4:00 p.m., in the Pueblo Conference Room, at the Clark County Government Center.

XIV. Public Comment
No action may be taken upon a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.
