NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition Technical Committee has been called and will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2002, in Mead Conference Room #2, at the Las Vegas Valley Water District, 1001 South Valley View, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89153 to consider the following:

I. Call to Order; notice of agenda conformance with Open Meeting Law requirements.

II. Approval of Agenda for September 12, 2002.

III. Approval of the Minutes from the July 11, 2002, meeting.

IV. Receive a report on the recent planning consultant activities; take any necessary action.

V. Authorize the Technical Advisory Committee to enter into contract negotiations with Parametrix for professional services relating to the Regional Growth Summits; and authorize the Chairman of the Technical Advisory Committee to sign the resulting contract; take any necessary action.

VI. Receive the biennial Report on Land Use, Transportation, and Air Quality; take any necessary action.

VII. Receive the Visioning Workshop final report; direct staff accordingly.

VIII. Receive a resolution for the annual population estimation process for 2002; take any necessary action.

IX. Set the agenda for the September 26, 2002, SNRPC Board meeting.

X. The next date and location for the Technical Committee meeting is tentatively set for October 10, 2002, 4:00 p.m., in Mead Conference #2, at the Las Vegas Valley Water District.

XI. Public Comment
No action may be taken upon a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.
