NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition Technical Committee has been called and will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2002, in Mead Conference Room #2, at the Las Vegas Valley Water District, 1001 South Valley View, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89153 to consider the following:
I. Call to Order; notice of agenda conformance with Open Meeting Law requirements. II. Approval of Agenda for February 14, 2002. III. Approval of the Minutes from the January 10, 2001, meeting. IV. Discuss the actions taken at the January 24, 2002, SNRPC Board meeting; direct staff accordingly. V. Receive a report on the recent planning consultant activities; take any action necessary. VI. Receive the interlocal agreement for implementation of "Policies for Projects of Regional Significance"; direct staff accordingly. VII. Consider a resolution to support the Regional Flood Control District's efforts to obtain ownership of certain federal lands; direct staff accordingly. VIII. Receive a presentation from the Nevada Commission on Mineral Resources regarding impacts of potential wilderness designations on mineral resources in Southern Nevada; take any action necessary. IX. Set the agenda for the February 28, 2002, SNRPC Board meeting. X. The next date and location for the Technical Committee meeting is tentatively set for March 14, 2002, 4:00 p.m., in the Pueblo Room, 1st Floor, at the Clark County Government Center. XI. Public Comment
No action may be taken upon a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.XII. Adjournment.
