NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA

SOUTHERN NEVADA REGIONAL PLANNING COALITION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition has been called and will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2000, in the 8th Floor Conference Room at the City of Las Vegas City Hall Building, 400 E. Stewart, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89016 to consider the following:

I. Call to Order; notice of agenda conformance with Open Meeting Law requirements.

II. Approval of Agenda for April 27, 2000.

III. Approval of Minutes of the February 24, 2000, and March 23, 2000, meeting.

IV. Receive a report on the actions taken at the April 13, 2000, Technical Committee meeting; direct staff accordingly.

V. Receive a report on the ULI Smart Growth Conference; direct staff accordingly.

VI. Receive a report on the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act and Special Account; direct staff accordingly.

VII. Receive a presentation on the SNRPC website; direct staff accordingly.

VIII. Receive an update on the current Planning Consultant activities and approve the guiding principles and public outreach plan.

IX. Receive an update on the EPA Sustainable Development Challenge Grant; direct staff accordingly.

X. Discussion of potential future agenda items; direct staff accordingly.

XI. The next SNRPC Board meeting date is tentatively scheduled for May 25, 2000, in the City of North Las Vegas.

XII. Public Comment
No action may be taken upon a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.
