NOTICE OF MEETING AND AGENDA

SOUTHERN NEVADA REGIONAL PLANNING COALITION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition has been called and will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 28, 2002, in the Mead Conference Room #2, at the Las Vegas Valley Water District, 1001 South Valley View, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89153 to consider the following:

I. Call to Order; notice of agenda conformance with Open Meeting Law requirements.

II. Approval of the Agenda for March 28, 2002.

III. Approval of the Minutes of the February 28, 2002, meeting.

IV. Receive a report on the actions taken at the March 14, 2002, Technical Committee meeting; direct staff accordingly.

V. Consent Agenda Item(s):

Accept the proposed Project of Regional Significance/Regionally Significant Infrastructure Project from Nevada Power; take any necessary action.

VI. Receive a report on recent planning consultant activities; take any necessary action.

VII. Receive a report on the progress of the Infill Development Report by Design Workshop; take any necessary action.

VIII. Receive a status report on the SNRPC FY 2001-2002 Budget and Expenditures; take any necessary action.

IX. Adopt the SNRPC FY 2002-2003 Budget and approved the associated SNRPC Work Plan; take any necessary action.

X. Receive an update report on the activities of the Homelessness Task Force; direct staff accordingly.

XI. The next date and location for the SNRPC Board is tentatively scheduled for April 25, 2002, 3:30 p.m., at the Las Vegas Valley Water District.

XII. Public Comment
No action may be taken upon a matter raised under this item of the agenda until the matter itself has been specifically included on an agenda as an item upon which action may be taken.
